We're delighted to welcome new member James Cadoux-Hudson to the Devon Furniture Makers' group. James tells us he came to furniture making after a career in engineering, mapping and the publishing of geographic data. He established himself in his workshop in Devon after a series of short course at West Dean, followed by a year’s course in Chris Faulkners’s workshop near Dartington.
He honed his skills whilst renovating and restoring his own house on Dartmoor and now works to commission hand making fine furniture.
