David Ames is now offering a full range of woodworking and furniture making courses to suit every skill level. Whether you just want to expand your knowledge and skills, or intend to retrain as a professional furniture maker, courses can be tailored to suit the student’s specific needs, requirements of knowledge, time available, end plan and so on.
Whether you are a complete beginner, an enthusiastic amateur, a good maker with a need to develop more design confidence or even planning a total career change, David likes to tailor the course to suit the needs of individual students. For example a long-term course could be part time if the student needs to keep earning while studying.
Shorter recreational courses are perfect for a vacation or holiday and include materials, refreshments and lunch. Bed and breakfast accommodation at Catsheys (next door to the workshop) is available for weekend courses.
